Gun roving overview

Spray-up is used to make large, complex parts such as boat hulls and bath tubs. Spray-up uses multi-end roving fed into a "gun" that is chopped into bundles of predetermined length. The bundles are sprayed into a resin stream and deposited onto a mold cavity that is gel-coated for a consistent, smooth surface finish. Once the resin cures, the part is removed from the mold. Spray-up is similar to and often combined with the hand lay-up process.

Any way, Everybody knows Vetrotex have been merged by OC. ( OC just release from chapter 11) some distributor said that they are creating more chance for different glass fiber vendors break into US and European composites market.

China. CPIC ( EC10 / EC 11/ EC 10C are gun roving code) have good gun roving.

JUSHI ( 148 /158 ) is good,too.

The price is up and up , the supply volume is shortage .

the key is R&D , and process control.

some chinese glass fiber vendors developing SPC( systematic process control) and SPD ( systematic process delivery and digital,i guess) to control the quality.

other point i need to emphasis, packaging is important for all the chinese glass fiber vendors.

LM glasfibre accepted CPIC direct roving for weaving. ( mainly for Polyester and vinyl ester resin)

VESTAS accepted JUSHI multiaxial fabrics. ( JUSHI have advanced epoxy compatible roving and fabrics )

Soft PVC pellet also available for electronic cable line cover.

PMMA -Acrylic resin , for extrusion grade and injection grade , the currently vendor is plexglass.

A new year -2007

A new year coming, 2007.
Yesterday is Valentine's day, my x-girlfriend given me a mail with regarding. I was love her so much , even perhaps right now. when a man immerge in suffering of missing somebody, he will be used to it, i am , i was and i still...

For the prospect of 2007, i have three goals, one is enjoy myself-develope some hobits or learn one new language beside English. two is overcome myself. a business man is overcome himself. like Mr. Li jia cheng. and Mr.Warrent buffet . three is creating my fortune and my time.

For the PVC rigid pellets, EB 203 / 306 /3011 for blow molding.
IM 02D is apply for injection grade, can be make of electrical injunction boxes , replace PPO ( GE PLASTICS NORYL ) and PC ( GE PLASTICS LEXAN )
6062 is apply for pipe fitting , cal carbonate content 25% .
2071 & 2074 is apply for Co-extrusion process, can be make for plastic label on supermarket shelves. 2071 is transparent pellets as foreside label, 2074 is non-transparent pellets as backside label.

Other pellets for extrusion pipe , code is tony 2007 . ( my name with my time) =)

For my traditional advantage : composites and fiberglass . i only wish i can overcome this field . learn something i don't know it, but hard to find it . ha ha ha ...

Cold press molding process

Cold Press Molding
Cold press molding, a semi-open molding process, requires lighter duty, reinforced cast composite matched tools mounted into a press. Reinforcements, usually continuous filament mats (CFM), are placed into the tool and a highly filled polyester resin is poured onto them. The press is closed and the part is cured. The process requires lower pressures, 15 - 100 lb/in2, and temperatures averaging 130ºF (55ºC). Cycle times are in the range of 10 - 20 minutes. Other glass fiber fabrics, mats, veils and preforms are also used. Parts usually have a fair-to-poor surface, so uses are under-hood auto and truck components like fan shrouds, brackets and battery supports.

25 Christmas i have experience in the world. i remember some girl stay with me for christmas when i study in college. it is about 6 or 7 years ago.

Right now, i am living in LA.

Let us start in my goal, some european composites customer design and manufacturing some large scale products for fashion decoration, make some brand logo outside. it is spray up or open laminate process. also , it is my favorite red coating.

I wish i can received Purchase Order about Plastics Pellets from my customers.

I wish i can expanding 2 full containers per month to 4 contianers , and from 4 to 6 , 6 to 12 , 12 to 20 , 20 to 40, 40 to 80, 80 to 100 per month.

My customer will be have more benefits than my supplier.

Thinking about great man and we will be them. Thinking about successful business, i will made it soon.
